The difference between rotating wheels and forging wheels is different costs, appearance, and performance. The wheels that use the rotation method to complete the wheel casting process can be called a rotary casting wheel.
The wheels are made of wheels made of forging. The difference between them is as follows:
Cost:
The technology of rotating the wheels is relatively simple, suitable for mass production, low cost, while forging wheels are complex, with high cost but excellent performance. Because the forging production process is much more than low-pressure forging, the forged single mechanical properties generally increase by 30%-50%, and some indicators are several times higher. Therefore, the same type of wheels are generally forged, which is much more expensive than low -die casting.
Exterior:
The appearance of the two is difficult to distinguish, but the metal characteristics are very different. The anti-fatigue, impact resistance and strength of the forging wheels are better than the rotary wheels. The quality of the rotation wheels is generally about 20%heavier than the forging wheels.
Performance:
Textile vehicles are low-pressure casting wheels, filling and solidification under pressure, so the filling is good, the loosening rate is high, and the density is high. Forging wheels usually have high strength, toughness, and fatigue strength, because the grain flow direction of the wheel hub is consistent with the direction of stress.
The Hybrid Forged Billet Sport Cap offers 32 combinations of colors to personalize your NNX Wheels. Starting as 6061 billet aluminum, the cap bezels are machined, hand- finished and powder coated in Vossen’s Miami-based factory using the same finishes as NNX Forged wheels.
