The difference between casting, forging, stamping and die casting.
(1) Casting is to melt the raw materials to make it naturally formed in the molding mold;
Forging is to heat the raw material to a certain temperature, and then use tools for forging;
Pouring stamping is stamping raw materials with a suitable stamping mold;
Die cast is injecting the melted raw material into the mold through pressure to obtain higher density or more accurate shapes;
Casting: The melting liquid metal filling cavity and cooling it. A stomach is prone to occur in the middle of the part.
(2) Forging: It is mainly high-temperature squeezing molding, which can refine the grains in the parts.
The thickness of the parts is basically the same, and it is suitable for stamping with sheet metal.
Demonstrations and unheated parts with different thickness and complex shapes shall be dotted.
1. There are two types of casting: high-pressure casting and low-pressure casting. Simply put, after the melting of the metal, the pressure of the mold is different, and the temperature of the heating metal is different and the machine for casting.
2. Forging is also a casting method. The difference is that the forging temperature is lower, and some methods can make metals into a semi-melt state.
3. Pressing is the process of making semi-finished products with machines such as stamping machines at normal temperature.
4. Die casting is also a way to cast high temperature. When encountering castings with complex structural and difficult difficulty, you can use the die-casting machine to heat the metal into a liquid state, press it into the mold, and remove the mold after cooling.
The Hybrid Forged Billet Sport Cap offers 32 combinations of colors to personalize your NNX Wheels. Starting as 6061 billet aluminum, the cap bezels are machined, hand- finished and powder coated in Vossen’s Miami-based factory using the same finishes as NNX Forged wheels.
